Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay Rate: $85/hr
Shift: Evening
We are seeking a qualified and experienced MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI and radiographic examinations in accordance with physicians’ orders and departmental protocols. This role requires excellent patient care skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail.
Perform MRI and radiographic examinations under the supervision of departmental radiologists
Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
Accurately position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain optimal image quality
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety standards
Review images for diagnostic quality and assist radiologists with image evaluation
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Adhere to infection control, privacy, and hospital policies at all times
Associate's degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Active New York State license/registration as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
