Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Job Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced and flexible Travel MRI Technologist to join our mobile imaging team. This role involves traveling to various healthcare facilities to operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is independent, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional radiologic services in a variety of clinical settings. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols. 
  • Travel to different hospitals, clinics, or imaging centers based on assignment. 
  • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures. 
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and transportation of MRI equipment. 
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety during exams. 
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. 
  • Work closely with radiologists and other medical personnel to provide timely and high-quality imaging. 
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and radiologic safety regulations and procedures. 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment as needed. 
  • Maintain inventory and ensure availability of necessary imaging supplies. 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. 
  • ARRT (MRI) certification required. 
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. 
  • Minimum 2  years of MRI experience; prior travel experience preferred. 
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively. 
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a high level of professionalism. 

Work Environment: 

  • Mobile and facility-based imaging environments. 
  • Requires frequent travel, possibly including overnight stays. 
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting equipment, and assisting patients. 
  • Must live over 50 miles from the location
