Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)
Duration: 13+week Contract(Extendable)
Work Location : Syracuse, New York
Shift timing: Night Shift
 
Requirement: RN license, BLS
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform accurate and timely assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status.
• Initiate IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Demonstrate accountability and sound judgment while working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN license required.
• BLS certification (must be current or eligible for immediate recertification).
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in a similar acute care setting.
• Prior experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center or facility of similar or greater size.
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred.
