Job Title: RN – Spine Surgery Recovery Unit
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219
Pay Rate: $45 – $48/hour (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated RN to join the Spine Surgery Recovery Unit. This unit focuses on post-operative care for patients recovering from spinal fusions, discectomies, and minimally invasive spine procedures. Candidates should thrive in a team-oriented, evidence-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage care for patients recovering from spinal surgery
• Monitor neurological function, wound healing, and pain management
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure comprehensive recovery care
• Educate patients and caregivers on post-discharge spinal precautions and mobility
• Accurately document assessments and care plans
Qualifications
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years in medical-surgical or post-op nursing
• Preferred: Spine or neurology experience and Epic EHR knowledge
Education & Certification:
• Required:
o Diploma in Nursing
o Ohio RN License or Compact
o BLS Certification (AHA)
• Preferred:
o BSN
