Job Title: RN – Pediatric Emergency Department
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219
Pay Rate: $46 – $48/hour (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available
Position Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled RN to provide care in our Pediatric Emergency Department. The nurse will be responsible for delivering acute care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced ED setting, working closely with pediatricians and emergency physicians.
Key Responsibilities
• Triage, assess, and treat pediatric patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Provide child- and family-centered care in accordance with developmental needs
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to pediatric emergencies
• Maintain clear communication with families and pediatric care team members
• Ensure documentation meets pediatric-specific regulatory and clinical standards
Qualifications
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department experience, including pediatric exposure
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
Education & Certification:
• Required:
o Diploma in Nursing
o Ohio RN License or Compact
o BLS Certification (AHA)
• Preferred:
o BSN
