Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Location: Bronx, NY
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement nursing strategies aligned with organizational goals to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Lead and inspire nursing teams to provide exceptional patient care through evidence-based practices.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to improve care delivery and optimize resource utilization.

  • Monitor and evaluate nursing performance metrics to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Promote professional development and mentorship opportunities for nursing staff at all levels.

  • Champion initiatives that enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and overall clinical outcomes.

  • Represent nursing in executive leadership forums and advocate for priorities that support nursing excellence.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.

  • Active RN license with current certifications in nursing leadership.

  • At least 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including senior management roles.

  • Demonstrated success in leading large teams, managing complex healthcare operations, and executing organizational change.

  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement practices.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in healthcare management systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

  • Skilled in leveraging data analytics for clinical performance and decision-making.

  • Experience with budgeting and financial oversight in healthcare settings.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic and analytical approach to solving problems and making decisions.
