Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Imaging Engineer to support IT Operations for a leading organization in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), alongside a strong background in Windows system administration, imaging, and endpoint management. This hybrid role is essential in ensuring efficient deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows systems across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows-based systems and imaging environments

  • Deploy and manage systems using MDT and SCCM

  • Optimize system performance, ensuring availability and reliability across endpoints

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to imaging and system deployment

  • Collaborate with IT teams to define best practices and support deployment strategies

  • Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to end-users and IT staff

  • Document system configurations, deployment workflows, and IT policies

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration and endpoint management

  • Proven expertise with MDT and SCCM for Windows imaging and deployment

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Group Policy

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in enterprise IT environments

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative work style

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent)

  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V

  • Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and system hardening
