Shift Availability:

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is fluent in Spanish to join a supportive and patient-focused healthcare team in Wayne, NJ. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to patients, helping to improve their quality of life and ensuring a positive patient experience. Bilingual communication is a key aspect of this role, as you will regularly support Spanish-speaking patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.

  • Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

  • Support patient mobility, including transfers and proper positioning.

  • Maintain patient hygiene and provide routine personal care.

  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.

  • Safely transport patients within the facility as needed.

  • Work closely with nurses and healthcare staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

  • Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff in a timely manner.

  • Keep the patient environment clean, organized, and safe.

  • Communicate clearly with patients and families in both Spanish and English.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by nursing staff or supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Current CNA certification in the state of New Jersey

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written communication)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required

  • CPR / BLS certification (required)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Team-oriented with a compassionate, proactive attitude
