We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders in patients across various age groups. Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnosis, age, and needs.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PT/OT, case managers, and families on plan of care.
Document patient progress and update care plans regularly in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and clinical staff on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning meetings.
Recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR system (Epic experience preferred).
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current NY State SLP License – Required
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) – Required
BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a practicing SLP, preferably in a hospital or rehab setting
