We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Configuration Engineer to support the implementation and enhancement of enterprise-level GIS platforms. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a professional with extensive experience in the ESRI suite and related geospatial technologies. As a GIS Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing GIS platforms to meet business and operational needs.
Support the deployment and configuration of ESRI Enterprise for ArcGIS, including both Desktop and Pro environments.
Configure and develop web applications and web services to integrate with ESRI’s suite of GIS tools.
Develop and implement the ESRI Roads and Highways Linear Referencing System (LRS) for spatial data management.
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize GIS workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with GIS platforms, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
Participate in the ongoing development of automated processing systems using Safe Software’s FME suite.
ArcGIS Desktop & Pro: In-depth experience with ESRI’s Desktop and Enterprise software, particularly ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro.
ESRI Enterprise Configuration: Experience in the deployment and configuration of ESRI Enterprise for ArcGIS.
Web Services: Experience in web application configuration and development, including the publishing of web services.
Linear Referencing: Expertise in the development and implementation of ESRI Roads and Highways Linear Referencing System (LRS).
FME Products: Familiarity with Safe Software’s FME products:
FME Form (formerly FME Desktop) for workflow development.
FME Flow (formerly FME Server) for automated processing.
VertiGIS Studio: Experience with VertiGIS Studio for enhanced enterprise GIS solutions.
HPMS & SLD Manager: Hands-on deployment and configuration of HPMS (Highway Performance Monitoring System) and SLD (Spatial Linear Data) Manager software.
Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages:
