Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Nights)
Pay Rate: $66/hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Pediatric Emergency Department team in Syracuse, NY. This is a night shift travel contract opportunity in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment requiring strong triage and pediatric emergency care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an emergency setting

• Perform comprehensive assessments and prioritize care using formal triage training

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and physicians

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in a timely and safe manner

• Document patient care accurately using EPIC Electronic Medical Records

• Respond to trauma cases in a Level 1 or 2 trauma environment

Qualifications:

• Active New York RN license (unencumbered)

• BLS Certification (must be current or eligible for recertification)

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department

• Strong triage skills and formal triage training required

• Experience in Adult ED is a plus, but candidates must have majority experience in dedicated Pediatric ED settings

• Previous experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers highly preferred

• EPIC EMR experience preferred
