Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 5x8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $90 – $96 per hour

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in a high-volume healthcare setting. This role involves performing advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses and quality care.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Prepare and educate patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
Operate nuclear imaging equipment and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
Ensure timely and accurate image processing and data entry into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues promptly.
Follow all departmental protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate with radiologists and healthcare providers for optimal imaging outcomes.
Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License and Registration.
Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine or cross-training experience in CT or MRI.
Proficient in radiation safety principles and imaging procedures.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
