Title : Customer Service Associate

Location: Springdale, AR

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Schedule: Sun-Tues/every other Saturday 7.30 pm – 7.30 am

Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (May include weekend training)

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) serves as the primary point of contact between Supply Chain and assigned external customers. This role is responsible for managing relationships with carriers, customers, and sales teams while ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution. The CSA must be highly organized, capable of handling a high volume of emails (up to 300+ daily), and proficient in logistics and transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and external customers.
  • Analyze incoming emails and determine prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Utilize multiple dispatch and external scheduling systems, including TES, LME, FOUR KITES, OTR, RETAILIX, RETAIL LINK, UNFI, and ONE NETWORK.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and software applications.
  • Understand customers’ organizational structure, procedures, and business needs.
  • Identify cost-effective and creative solutions to optimize the delivery process.
  • Represent positively and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in transportation or logistics (not general customer service).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications; ability to manage high email volume.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
