Job Title: Director of Nursing – Psychiatric | Local & Travel

Requirements:
Active RN License
Qualifications:
Active RN license.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
Minimum of 4 years of acute care psychiatric nursing experience
Experience Requirements: Candidates must have direct psychiatric nursing experience, specifically in providing treatment and care for individuals with a primary diagnosis and treatment focus on psychiatric disorders.
Qualifying settings may include:
Inpatient psychiatric units
Outpatient psychiatric programs or clinics
All services must be provided under the supervision of a full-time RN holding a BSN or MSN with at least four years of psychiatric nursing experience.
Exclusions – Experience That Does Not Qualify:
Experience in nursing homes caring for individuals with chronic dementing organic mental disorders
Experience in non-psychiatric settings, such as:
Medical/surgical units
Emergency departments
Units where patients do not have a primary psychiatric diagnosis
