Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Travel RN to provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in triage and emergency care, ensuring quick and effective treatment for patients with a wide range of urgent medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, specialized nursing care in emergency situations
Assess, prioritize, and triage patients based on the severity of their conditions
Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by physicians
Monitor patient progress and respond to emergent changes in condition
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an ED setting
Recent Emergency Department experience within the last 6 months
Proficiency in emergency nursing practices
Strong clinical judgment and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current NJ Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
