Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Shift: 5x8-Hour Shifts, 40 Hours/Week
Contract Type: Contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Endoscopy RN to support gastroenterology and pulmonary services. This role includes pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedural assistance, and post-procedural recovery care. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for a variety of endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety and patient education.
• Assist physicians during procedures including:
  • Colonoscopy
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • PEG tube placement
  • Capsule endoscopy
  • Bravo pH monitoring
  • Robotic-assisted and navigational procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and response to sedation or anesthesia during procedures.
• Provide comprehensive post-procedure care, monitor for complications, and document patient status.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio or a valid Compact State License.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Endoscopy, GI Lab, or Pulmonary Services.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to remain calm in critical situations.
• Experience with a wide range of procedures, recovery, and patient education.
