Travel Compensation Package:

  • Taxable Rate: $70/hr | $2,625/week

  • Stipend: $2,611/week

  • Blended Rate: $135.28/hr | $5,236/week

Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for a seasoned and visionary Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join a dynamic healthcare leadership team. This executive-level position is essential to driving clinical excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance across nursing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and recent acute care experience to help guide and advance nursing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute nursing strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance patient care delivery.

  • Lead and mentor nursing teams, promoting evidence-based practices and professional growth.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to streamline operations and optimize outcomes.

  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and accountability.

  • Oversee initiatives aimed at improving patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical effectiveness.

  • Represent nursing perspectives in executive leadership and strategic planning discussions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Minimum of 7 years of nursing leadership experience, including 5 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong background in acute care settings.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement frameworks.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

  • Doctorate (DNP or DHA) is a plus.

  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and use of data analytics to drive clinical and operational performance.
