Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN to provide high-quality nursing care during endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate has strong conscious sedation experience and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced procedural setting.
Assist with procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, and ERCPs
Administer and monitor conscious sedation to ensure patient safety and comfort
Perform pre-procedure assessments and patient education
Monitor patient vitals and sedation levels during procedures
Assist physicians with instruments and maintain sterile field
Document all care in patient records and EMR
Provide post-procedure care, monitoring, and discharge instructions
Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
Active RN license in New York (required)
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or procedural nursing experience
Strong knowledge and independent practice of conscious sedation (required)
Familiarity with GI procedures and patient monitoring standards
Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities
Successful completion of pre-employment health screening
