Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Shift: Nights | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 8-hour shifts | Must be available some weekends (not every weekend)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with strong clinical microbiology experience to join a high-performing lab team on the night shift. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a solid foundation in laboratory science and the flexibility to work night hours, including some weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyze microbiological and other laboratory tests in a Trauma Level I setting

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lab results

• Follow quality control and assurance practices in accordance with regulatory standards

• Collaborate with clinical teams to support optimal patient outcomes

• Participate in day shift training prior to starting night shift duties

Requirements:

• Required Certification: MLS (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP)

• Preferred Certification: SM (ASCP)

• Strong clinical microbiology experience

• Prior experience in a Trauma Level I facility highly desirable

• Ability to work independently on night shifts and adapt to fast-paced environments

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
