Shift:

• 1st shift: Sunday–Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Training: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (May include Sat/Sun to shadow off-shift staff)

SUMMARY:

The Transportation Service Representative is the primary liaison for managing carrier activities and ensuring customer transportation requirements are met. This role involves constant monitoring of inbound/outbound activity, problem-solving with urgency, and delivering superior service under pressure.

FULL DESCRIPTION:

• Acts as the first point of contact for resolving transportation exceptions.
• Coordinates reschedules, appointment setting, and load tracking.
• Uses TES, FourKites, and other logistics platforms for load visibility.
• Interfaces with customers on freight updates, documentation, and escalations.
• Provides regular updates to Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in logistics or transportation

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain, or dispatch roles

Computer Skills:

• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

Communication Skills:

• Clear, concise verbal/written communication
• Conflict resolution and high-volume multitasking required
