Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator

📍 Location: Springdale, AR – 72764
🕒 Duration: 3 Months (Extension Possible)
🔄 Shift: 40 Hrs per week

Overview:

• This entry-level role supports day-to-day logistics operations, focusing on effective load execution and carrier coordination.
• Works closely with the logistics supervisor to learn internal systems, compliance practices, and performance metrics for on-time delivery.
• Responsible for dispatching loads, resolving exceptions, managing driver schedules, and tracking freight through various checkpoints.
• Exposure to shuttle, regional, and OTR logistics operations is part of the role to ensure a holistic understanding of transportation flow.
• Weekend, night, and holiday coverage may be required on a rotational basis.

REQUIREMENTS: be able to work a varying work schedule.

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 6 months of long-haul dispatch experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Requires basic computer skills such as e-mail excel word.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Good verbal and written communication skills.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead and motivate others.

Looking for people with 6 months long haul dispatch experience, not customer service experience in the transportation field. Must have recent, relevant experience.
