Job Title: Operating Room (OR) Technician

📍 Location: Sugar Land, TX 77479
🕒 Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | 8 hrs/day | 40 hrs/week
📅 Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)

💰 Pay Rate: $45.00 – $48.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room (OR) Technician to assist in surgical procedures and ensure optimal operating room functionality. This role supports physicians and nurses during surgeries and contributes to a safe, efficient, and sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a scrub tech during operative and invasive procedures

• Assist in patient care by preparing and managing surgical instruments and equipment

• Ensure all necessary supplies and instruments are available before and during surgeries

• Maintain and manage surgical inventory; act as a resource for inventory best practices

• Follow protocols under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization standards are met before and after procedures

Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative support
✅ Experience with inventory control in a surgical or clinical setting
✅ Ability to function effectively in high-pressure environments
✅ Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused

Certification Required:

• Surgical Technologist Certification
