Job Title: RN – Emergency Room
Location: Hackensack, NJ, 07601
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Compensation: $1,800 – $2,100/week
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This role involves delivering urgent and expert care to patients of all ages in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker, calm under pressure, and experienced in managing emergency situations.
Provide immediate and expert care to patients in emergency situations.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout their ED stay.
Prioritize medical needs using triage protocols and critical thinking.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Care for patients presenting with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and other acute conditions.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and evidence-based nursing practices.
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Emergency Room RN.
Demonstrated expertise in treating Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI patients.
Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA)
NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
Active New Jersey RN License
