Histotechnology Specialist – Research & Diagnostics

Qualifications:

NYS License/registration or limited permit to practice as a Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Two years of histology experience in a clinical or research setting.
Ability to distinguish colors for accurate staining analysis.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

Prepare and analyze histological specimens using advanced staining methods.
Conduct immunostaining, special stains, and enzyme histochemistry.
Handle and process complex specimens, including neuropathology and eye pathology.
Maintain accurate patient data and research specimen records.
Follow laboratory safety protocols and ensure quality control compliance.
