MRI Scan Technologist

Qualifications:

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• NYS license/registration.
• Minimum one year of MRI experience.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Conducts MRI scans with precision and accuracy.
• Ensures patient safety by screening for metal implants and other risks.
• Uses appropriate imaging sequences based on clinical indications.
• Reports any malfunctions with imaging equipment to the supervisor.
• Inputs scan data into the Radiology Information System.
• Assists with patient positioning and comfort during procedures.

Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,200 - $2,700 per week
