Clinical Laboratory Specialist – Microbiology

Qualifications:

• NYS licensure or eligibility to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Strong ability to distinguish color changes in microbiological specimens.
• At least 2 years of experience in a microbiology lab preferred.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis of patient specimens.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure test accuracy.
• Use advanced laboratory computer systems to track results.
• Conduct routine quality control procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety protocols.
