Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Wayne, NJ
Department: Rehabilitation
Duration: 3 Months (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Part-time considered)
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a skilled rehabilitation team in Wayne, NJ. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in delivering treatment plans designed to restore mobility, improve function, and enhance quality of life for residents.
Deliver physical therapy treatments as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist with therapeutic exercises, coordination, gait training, and muscle reeducation
Accurately observe, document, and report patient responses and progress
Maintain detailed and timely treatment records and progress notes
Ensure safe and effective use of therapy equipment and techniques
Collaborate with residents and care teams to support rehab goals
Active PTA license in the state of New Jersey
Knowledge of physical therapy procedures and equipment
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Effective communication and documentation skills
Team-oriented, compassionate, and patient-focused
