Job Title: Patient Account Investigator
Duties:
Audit and update patient financial accounts for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare, submit, and monitor claims for both paper and electronic billing systems.
Address claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies by working with payers and internal teams.
Manage pre-authorizations and document responses in the system.
Generate and analyze aging reports to identify outstanding balances.
Assist patients with billing inquiries, establish payment plans, and escalate cases as needed.
Skills Required:
Experience in claims processing, customer service, and financial account management.
Proficiency in billing systems and database management.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience; minimum High School diploma required.
