OR Surgical Tech - Certified Specialist - NYCTECH

Job Title: OR Surgical Tech - Certified Specialist

Duties:

• Scrub and assist during major OR procedures across multiple specialties.
• Maintain the sterility of the surgical field throughout the procedure.
• Ensure all instruments and supplies are prepared, available, and in good condition.
• Support specimen handling and follow protocols for lab submission.
• Participate in OR turnover by cleaning and restocking as needed.

Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise with 2+ years of scrubbing experience in a busy OR setting.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NBSTSA CST Certification and AHA BLS certification mandatory.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,625 - $1,850
• Monthly: $6,500 - $7,400
