• Shift: Evening (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist – Blood Bank to join a dynamic healthcare team in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in blood banking and laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and timely results while maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex blood bank laboratory tests.
• Process specimens, conduct testing, and interpret results per laboratory protocols.
• Ensure compliance with quality control and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and test records.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for timely test reporting.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (Primary Source Verification Required).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical blood bank setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of blood banking procedures and laboratory protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with precision and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
