Registered Nurse – Same Day Surgery PACU Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU, ambulatory surgery, or same-day surgery.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-turnover recovery environments.

Duties:

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing outpatient surgeries.
• Monitor and assess patients for pain, nausea, and post-operative complications.
• Ensure patients are stable before discharge and provide education on home recovery.
• Work with anesthesiologists and surgeons to streamline patient transitions.
• Document recovery status and interventions accurately.
• Assist with pain management and medication administration.
• Maintain compliance with ambulatory surgery center protocols.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,100 - $2,800
