Registered Nurse (RN) – Occupational Health

💰 Pay Rate: $32.00 / hr
📅 Job Type: Contract (2-4 months, with possible extension)
⏰ Schedule: 3-5 days per week, must be available at least 1-2 Saturdays per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide occupational health services, including primary and emergency care for workplace injuries and illnesses. This role also involves health assessments, screenings, maintaining health records, and supporting workplace safety programs.
Responsibilities
✅ Provide primary and emergency medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses
✅ Conduct health assessments and screenings, including drug/alcohol testing, spirometry, and audiometric testing
✅ Maintain OSHA, state, and employee health records while ensuring strict confidentiality
✅ Support workplace safety, ergonomic programs, and health promotion initiatives
✅ Assist with workers’ compensation cases, documentation, and case management
✅ Occasionally travel to local clinics or hospitals as needed
Requirements
📌 Current RN license in Mississippi (unrestricted)
📌 1+ years of nursing experience (occupational health or related field preferred)
📌 Basic computer skills; experience with electronic medical documentation preferred
📌 Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
📌 Ability to work a flexible schedule (including some Saturdays)
