Emergency Department Medical Scribe

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience in a medical office or emergency department setting.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR and fast-paced medical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and emergency procedures.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance if working onsite.

Duties:

• Document real-time emergency patient encounters.
• Assist physicians with charting treatment plans, test results, and diagnoses.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Quickly and accurately transcribe medical histories and physical exams.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to streamline documentation.
