Outpatient Medical Scribe

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework.
• Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative or scribing role.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance if working onsite.

Duties:

• Transcribe outpatient visits into EPIC EMR.
• Enter patient demographics, treatment plans, and physician orders.
• Ensure medical documentation is accurate and legally compliant.
• Assist healthcare providers in maintaining organized records.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality.
