Rehabilitation Music Therapist

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Music Therapy.
• Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) required within two years of appointment.
• Limited permit may be considered for appointment.

Duties:

• Uses music therapy to aid in physical, cognitive, and emotional rehabilitation.
• Works with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or neurological conditions.
• Assesses individual needs and adapts music therapy techniques accordingly.
• Coordinates with rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient recovery through musical interventions.
• Tracks patient progress and adjusts therapy plans as needed.
