Pay Rate: $55/Hour (W2)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Tech for a 13-week contract in Ithaca, NY. The role requires expertise in cardiac and vascular sonography and involves floating between sites at Ithaca Mall and Cortland (approximately 25 minutes apart). Mileage reimbursement is available when commuting is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze cardiac rhythm changes, patient conditions, and comfort levels during Stress Echocardiograms.
• Communicate significant patient condition changes to Cardiologists.
• Obtain patient history before exams, including height, weight, blood pressure, and previous cardiac surgeries.
• Set up patients for procedures, including data entry, patient transfer, and electrode placement.
• Observe stress echoes, including both exercise and pharmacological stress tests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary echo lab environment.
• Ensure all echo labs are stocked with necessary supplies, including gel, linens, electrodes, and disinfecting wipes.
• Provide a positive and informative patient experience throughout procedures.

Requirements:

• Echo Tech Certification required.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute between Ithaca Mall and Cortland.
• Ability to float between sites as needed.
