Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week) | Monday - Friday | 8-hour shifts

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to maternal and child patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as needed for patient treatment.
• Administer conscious sedation in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols.
• Scrub and circulate in the Labor & Delivery unit as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery with maternal and child experience.
• Skills: IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation expertise required.
• Licensure: Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification – Required
