Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract in New York, NY. This position requires working Sundays only, performing MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic imaging and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure accurate imaging by properly positioning patients and selecting appropriate technical parameters.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment efficiently, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to assess imaging needs.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any concerns.
• Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist with program development to enhance patient care and employee performance.
• Monitor and assess patient care quality, collaborating with nurse managers to address any corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain a record-keeping system for medication errors and counseling.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
