Registered Nurse – Nurse Midwife Assistant
Qualifications:
Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or midwifery support.
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification required.
Experience assisting with natural childbirth and holistic labor support.
Duties:
Assist midwives in providing holistic, patient-centered labor support.
Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vitals, and labor progression.
Support mothers during natural childbirth with pain management techniques.
Provide immediate postpartum care, including newborn assessments.
Educate patients on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Collaborate with midwives and obstetricians for safe labor and delivery outcomes.
Maintain compliance with midwifery care protocols and hospital standards.
