Registered Nurse – Postpartum Labor and Delivery Nurse
Qualifications:
Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in postpartum or maternal-child nursing.
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification required.
Lactation Consultant Certification (IBCLC or CLC) preferred.
Duties:
Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
Monitor for postpartum hemorrhage, infections, and other complications.
Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Administer pain management, IV fluids, and medications as needed.
Assist with skin-to-skin bonding and early initiation of breastfeeding.
Collaborate with lactation consultants and pediatric providers.
Maintain compliance with maternal and newborn care best practices.
