Registered Nurse – Oncology Nurse (Non-Telemetry)
Qualifications:
Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in oncology care.
Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) preferred.
BLS certification required; ACLS recommended.
Duties:
Provide nursing care for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Monitor for side effects such as nausea, immunosuppression, and electrolyte imbalances.
Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and supportive medications.
Educate patients and families on symptom management and treatment expectations.
Collaborate with oncologists, palliative care teams, and social workers.
Ensure strict adherence to chemotherapy safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress.
