Description:

The ICU Step-Down IMCU Nurse provides care for patients who have stabilized after ICU treatment but still require intensive monitoring and treatment. This role includes administering cardiac drips, managing ventilators, and closely observing patients during their recovery. The nurse will handle a patient load of 1:3 (1:4 when flexed), focusing on patients who require ongoing monitoring after leaving the ICU. Night shifts are required for this position.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in ICU or step-down care.
• Experience in managing patients with cardiac telemetry, vasoactive drips, and ventilator support.
• Knowledge of post-ICU care, including respiratory and cardiac assessments.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a 1:3-1:4 patient ratio.
