RN CVICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Description:
The RN CVICU Nurse provides intensive care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular treatments and surgeries. This role requires monitoring patients with invasive devices such as Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tubes, and temporary pacing wires. The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts, providing post-op recovery care and managing patients requiring ECMO or IABP support.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of experience in CVICU or intensive care nursing.
• Proficient in managing cardiovascular patients using devices like Impella, IABP, ECMO, and CRRT.
• Experience in post-operative care for open-heart and other high-risk surgeries.
• Ability to manage high-acuity situations and work independently during night shifts.
• Flexibility for on-call duties during emergencies.
