Description:

The RN Open Heart Surgery Nurse supports the surgical team by assisting during open-heart surgeries, including CABG and valve replacement procedures. The nurse will manage instruments, assist with robotic surgeries, and ensure proper post-operative care for patients. The role includes handling complex equipment and technologies, such as Bovies and ECMO. On-call shifts and weekend work are part of the responsibilities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of experience in open-heart surgeries or cardiovascular nursing.
• Experience with advanced equipment, such as ECMO, robotic systems, and Bovies.
• Proficiency in scrub and circulating during open-heart procedures.
• Strong knowledge of post-operative recovery for cardiac patients.
• Availability for call shifts, including weekend rotations.
