Description:

The RN Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Scrub Nurse plays a crucial role in assisting during cardiac surgeries, providing direct patient care, and ensuring the surgical field is maintained with sterile instruments and equipment. The nurse will assist in using specialized equipment such as Bovies, robotic systems, and other surgical tools. This role requires scrub experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-acuity setting. Call shifts and weekend rotations are included as part of the responsibility.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of experience in the operating room, specifically in cardiovascular procedures.
• Proficient in scrub and circulating duties, including using specialized equipment like robotic systems, Bovies, and other instrumentation.
• Experience with high-acuity cases and the ability to maintain sterile environments during surgeries.
• Ability to manage call shifts and weekend on-call duties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with surgical teams.
