Description:

The RN Cardiovascular Surgical Support Nurse provides care and support to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries, including open and endovascular procedures. The role includes operating advanced equipment like ECMO, Impella, and IABP, assisting with surgical procedures, and monitoring patient recovery post-surgery. The nurse will be expected to handle on-call shifts, including weekends, as part of the surgical team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of experience in cardiovascular or surgical nursing.
• Expertise in managing surgical tools and equipment, particularly for open and endovascular cardiovascular surgeries.
• Experience with ECMO, Impella, IABP, and other related cardiovascular technologies.
• Strong patient monitoring and recovery skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons and other healthcare providers, with on-call availability.
