RN CVICU Nurse II

Description:
The RN CVICU Nurse provides intensive care for patients undergoing heart surgery, including open-heart surgery, heart transplants, and post-operative recovery. This role requires constant monitoring, managing life-supporting devices, and delivering high-quality care for critically ill patients. The nurse will also work closely with the cardiology team to ensure that patients’ needs are met and provide education to families on post-care recovery. Weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular ICU setting.
• Expertise in cardiovascular recovery, heart failure, and post-op management.
• Familiarity with ECMO, CRRT, and other advanced therapies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
