Description:

The RN Wound Treatment Specialist is responsible for providing expert care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. This role includes the application of various wound care treatments, collaboration with physicians for more complex procedures, and patient education for optimal wound healing. The nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that the patient's treatment plan is effective and continually updated.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in wound care treatment and management.
• Expertise in applying advanced wound care therapies such as hydrocolloids, alginates, and silver dressings.
• Ability to assess wound progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and management techniques.
• Strong patient communication and educational skills.
