Job Title: MRI Tech

Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601

Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Every 3rd weekend (3rd Saturday and Sunday obligation)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $60 to $65/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and perform MRI procedures in compliance with department standards with a minimum of 99% accuracy.
• Regularly update knowledge of technologists’ regulations appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Schedule the appropriate amount of time for each patient, review requisitions throughout the shift, and manage scheduling efficiently.
• Prepare all opaque contrast media used in various examinations with 100% accuracy.
• Process images within 30 minutes of completing the examination.
• Translate physician’s orders for technical-surgical procedures into appropriate radiographic procedures with a minimum accuracy rate of 99%.
• Maintain patient logs and equipment downtime records.
• Work closely with radiologists to develop imaging protocols for optimal imaging studies.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed MRI Tech required.
• Strong ability to professionally and effectively communicate information to patients.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Certification & License Requirements:

• NJ State MRI License required.
• ARRT (MRI) Certification required.
• COVID Vaccination Card required.
