Acute Dialysis Care Nurse
Responsibilities: The Acute Dialysis Care Nurse provides nursing care to patients who require dialysis due to acute renal conditions. You will assess patients before treatment, set up dialysis machines, monitor vital signs during treatment, and address any complications that arise. You will collaborate with nephrology teams, ensure that all necessary adjustments are made to treatment plans, and provide education to patients and their families on dialysis care and long-term management of kidney health.
Required Skills: Detailed knowledge of dialysis systems, strong clinical judgment, ability to manage patient care in a high-stress environment, and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in dialysis care, certification in acute care dialysis is a plus.
